White Pine Farm Breeding Program

Our breeding program is centered around producing quality American Quarter Horses and Paint Horses that are eligible for registration with AQHA and APHA.

Each cross is carefully selected with the goal of producing horses that are not only athletic and functional, but also mentally sound and versatile. We focus on breeding horses that will excel within the same standards as our training program. Our goal is to raise horses that are capable of performing across multiple disciplines, including ranch riding, ranch versatility, reining, trail, and working cow horse events.

While many of our horses go on to specialize in a particular discipline, the foundation behind each pairing is designed to allow them to succeed in any direction their future may take them. Conformation, disposition, and trainability are always prioritized in our program. We believe that a well-bred horse should not only have the ability to perform, but also the mindset to become a reliable partner for its rider.

From the initial pairing to the development of each foal, our program is built on the same principles that guide our training: thoughtful horsemanship, long-term soundness, and versatility.

Foals for Sale

Our foals are the direct result of a carefully planned breeding program that prioritizes quality over quantity.

From the moment they are born, each foal is handled with the future in mind. Early exposure, proper handling, and a consistent environment help set the stage for a smooth transition into training as they mature.

We aim to produce foals that will grow into horses capable of:

  • Ranch riding and ranch versatility

  • Reining and performance events

  • Trail and obstacle work

  • Working with and around cattle

  • Becoming dependable, all-around partners

Because of the thought put into each cross, our foals are bred to be adaptable. While they are well-suited for performance careers, they are equally capable of becoming safe and enjoyable horses for everyday riders.

Our goal is simple: to produce horses that not only perform well, but that people genuinely enjoy owning and riding.

Presenting
Gunsmoke N Hot Chex

“Gunsmoke N Hot Chex” is a 2023 AQHA/APHA registered stallion with a pedigree rooted in some of the most influential and proven bloodlines in the modern stock horse industry.

He is sired by Snipers Smoking Gun and out of Sheza Big Chex Too (Big Chex to Cash) combining lines known for their success in reining, ranch horse, and all-around performance disciplines. This pedigree brings together a strong blend of athletic ability, trainability, and the kind of disposition that produces horses suited for both competition and everyday riding.

The influence of the “Gunner” line is widely respected for producing horses with natural talent, willingness, and a strong work ethic, while the “Chex” bloodlines are known for their versatility, soundness, and consistency across multiple disciplines.

Even at a young age, Gunsmoke N Hot Chex is already beginning to prove himself. During his first few outings he has already proven to be a solid competitor, winning ranch horse conformation classes as a 2 yr old, and in his 3 yr old year has already successfully competed at his first National Cowboy Challenge Association events, with a couple of wins and earning points.

In addition to his pedigree and early accomplishments, he stands out for his exceptional mind and disposition. He is extremely trainable, quiet-natured, and willing, with the kind of temperament that makes him both a pleasure to work with and a strong candidate for producing quality offspring.

With correct conformation, a gentle nature, and a foundation rooted in proven bloodlines, Gunsmoke N Hot Chex represents the type of stallion we are proud to build our breeding program around. His offspring are expected to excel in ranch riding, versatility, reining, trail, and a wide range of performance careers.

“Virgil” is 7 panel n/n and carries SW1 and SW2
